Dear Friends! The Academy of Russian Classical Ballet invites you to the magical Nutcracker performances that will be presented on December 14 and 15 at the Redmond Performance Arts Center.
The Nutcracker is a fairy tale ballet in two acts to the beloved music of P.I.Tchaikovsky, with original choreography by Yanina Mikhaylyuk – artistic director of Academy of Russian Classical Ballet, based on the
traditional Nutcracker of the Mariinsky/Kirov Theatre, the version Vasily Vainonen.
Join us for an elaborate ballet with beautiful dancing, colorful hand-made sets and props, and exquisite costumes. Children and adults of all ages will be transformed by this heartwarming tale of a young girl and her beloved Nutcracker as she battles evil and learns the value and resiliency of the human spirit.
Our students will show four performances: two on Saturday and two on Sunday, at 2 and 5 PM.
